The Metis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) is providing print, image, audio and video files to the public via the MNBC Historic Document Database (HDD). Materials on the MNBC Historic Document Database are for personal, cultural and educational purposes only. Use of aforementioned materials as part of any for-profit endeavor is strictly prohibited.

Use of MNBC HDD materials for non-profit cultural or educational purposes requires the expressed permission of the copyright holder. The MNBC HDD will be credited and acknowledged as the source of any HDD materials used. Individuals wishing to use materials for non-profit cultural or educational purposes beyond a classroom or seminar setting must (1) complete the MNBC Application for Extended Use and (2) receive expressed permission from MNBC.

In accordance with the terms of use developed by the MNBC, users of the MNBC Historic Document Database must accept to use the database only for the purposes of their research project. All information submitted on the MNBC HDD User Registration Form must be accurate and up-to-date. Users providing falsified information will be denied access to database materials permanently. All users must consent to these terms of use in order to access the MNBC Historic Document Database.
